I want to begin by saying that I LOVE this website and I LOVE your podcasts! They are so helpful, interesting, and well done! I do have one small suggestion about the exercises, however. Frequently in Newbie lessons (perhaps in others too, I have not tried them), the fill-in-the-blank questions have what seem to be more than one possible answer but count only one answer as correct.
For example, in the exercises for this lesson, I filled in a blank to make the following sentence:
学中文难不难？ (Is studying Chinese difficult?)
The system counted this wrong, saying that I should have chosen 写 rather than 学. Wouldn't either answer be correct? (If not, then I am confused).
Another example for this lesson are the following two sentences:
我不喜欢学英文
我不喜欢写英文
The system only recognizes the latter as correct.
It is only a suggestion that you might somehow take this into consideration when creating the exercises in the future. I personally know that the exercises are EXTREMELY beneficial for me, but in more difficult lessons it can sometimes be a bit frustrating (I'm not always sure if my sentence is wrong or just not what the system has in mind).
Again, I LOVE your site and everything that you all do! I'm not trying to be critical, just wanted help by pointing this out! Xie4xie for everything you guys do! :-)
