Hey everyone,

Thank you ver much for your responses. Iam very embarrassed that I wrote "nob" instead of "knob". Apparently I am a "newbie" in english as well.

As for "fá / diverter valve," I probably won't need to go that far. However, I am very appreciative that the comment thread went far enough that "fá" was introduced. The next time a plumber comes to my apartment I will try and deal with the issue myself instead of making sure a Chinese friend is here to help. The situation will probably prove quite comical.

Hey guys, this is my first comment (love Chinese pod by the way)!  I've been having a little trouble finding nouns for shower and bath tub.  I keep seeing the verb - at least I think it's a verb - xǐ zǎo.

What happens if I want to ask a hotel clerk if the hotel rooms have a bath or a shower?  Also, What about some vocabulary about the the functioning of the shower like nob, showerhead, drain (I ask this mostly because the shower in my apartment has been a nightmare in china).

Thanks for taking the time to help!

Shawn
