June 4, 2011 at 3:18 AMI see the word 欺负 qī fù a lot on Chinese television. I'm sure there are other words out there that mean "to bully" that have different shades of meaning though.

It seems as if I hear "给“ more often in this case.

May 7, 2011 at 5:40 AMAlong with "China is still a developing country", "China has 5000 years of history" is one of my students' favorite phrases. They don't seem to see the irony in their juxtaposition.

Very timely for me as well; I encountered 委屈 and 冤枉 just the other day on an old episode of ”家有儿女“。I had been struggling with exactly how to translate/use them, but no longer. 多谢。
