November 3, 2012 at 1:51 AMWell, technically you could so this for every vocab regardless of perceived difficulty. I don't see how showing more definitions would be a problem, you'd skip known words anyway and it isn't exactly cluttered or anything.

November 25, 2012 at 4:20 PMIt is sort of interchangeable. The difference is mainly in proximity, in distance to the topic. This means that either the person you are talking too is not exactly close to your (spatial) position or the speaker doesn‘t care. Maybe he was referring to the couple in the past. It wouldn't really change anything in this context.
