August 22, 2012 at 2:48 PMCould also do a lesson on why they lock the bathrooms on the Shanghai - Beijing trains every time you get anywhere near a stop. That first train had blasting loud tv advertisements that you could not turn off until the train told you it was bedtime and they came right back on when the train company decided it was time for you to wake up. We took a different train line back home and had a much quieter experience.

August 22, 2012 at 2:44 PMHow about lessons about Chongming Island. When I was last in Shanghai, I learned a lot of cool cultural stuff when we visited this mainly native Chinese destination. Could also do something about the ferry ride over. That ferry had distinct upper and lower tiers and plenty to see traveling through the harbor and channel... not to mention the onboard bathrooms/trench with stuff flowing back and forth beneath you as the boat rocked.

August 6, 2012 at 2:42 PMIn the dialogue and vocabulary (traditional characters) I see what/shenme written as "甚麼 ", but I have only ever seen it written as "什麼 ". Is this a typo?
