January 8, 2015 at 10:38 AMI have a suggestion. Maybe you can sub-divide Intermediate into Lower-Level Intermediate and Higher-Level Intermediate so those of us who are in between Higher-Level Intermediate & Upper Intermediate won't listen to lessons that are too easy for our level.

December 30, 2014 at 11:43 AMJenny and David, we will miss you! Thank you to the rest of the Chinesepod staff as well. You have really improved my Mandarin. Although I'm still not confident to write in Mandarin as I have limited exposure to it, my listening and reading skills have greatly improved. I actually understood around 90% of this lesson. I owe that to your team.
Chinesepod management, I just wish you won't leave us in the dark. Please issue an official statement. Please refer us as well to Jenny and David's farewell message.

December 11, 2014 at 12:24 PMI liked the new format. The video was a bit blurry though.
I also think that Fiona and Fang Laoshi are both very charming hosts. =)

October 16, 2014 at 5:25 AMI think your topic selections recently are really interesting. I also like the new feature in the Vocab that directs one to other lessons containing that word. What happened to the audio though? I don't think Intermediate poddies would like to listen to the vocab spoken that slowly (by character). Please bring back the old audio wherein the words are spoken more naturally.

July 18, 2014 at 8:48 PMI enjoyed this episode and would like to see more of Jenny and David in future Upper Intermediate podcasts. I think that it's a good idea to put native speakers in this level because I tend to rely on the English parts, which is probably why I can understand higher-level Mandarin but I still can't speak it. Listening to the "reformatted" Upper Intemediate podcasts and reading the Mandarin Companion books, I think, will help me think in Chinese and ease the transition to my long-coveted Advanced level.
Anyway, can you please provide more examples of the use of 则? Thanks.

May 30, 2014 at 8:58 PMDear Chinesepod,
I've been a subscriber for years. You've aided me from the Elementary levels all the way to Upper Intermediate. That's why the volume of complaints about the recent decline in quality (technical glitches, too much English being spoken in the higher levels, etc) bothers me. I wish you would focus on these more because I fear that with several other formidable competitors, some of your irate subscribers will move away. Please take the complaints seriously and get your act together. I wish nothing but success for this once-great service.
