The host guy's (Ken's) pronounciation is not that accurate! It's really putting me off this Mandarin course and listening to the rest of the tutorials. He's got quite a clumsy heavy way of talking - I wish there was a proper bilingual/chinese guy explaining.
At this intermediate level, its very evident that the foreigner's australian accent is coming through and its not entirely accurate. He's also not pronouncing the Chinese tones properly.
Please please please use native speakers for all your podcast presenters. This is the only (but major) drawback to your excellent series. However I think its quite a serious one, especially for intermediate speakers where pronounciation is key.
