Hi,

I cannot get the Anki export to work. What version of Anki am I supposed to use? I exported my vocabulary in the anki format, changed the name (from chinesepod_anki.txt to chinesepod_anki.anki) and tried opening it, but this resulted in an error message (deck is missing a model).

I tried this with both version 0.9.9.6 and version 0.9.8.7.

These lessons are incredibly well written! Does it mean anything that Lin Feng talks about "Xiao Pıng tongzhi" while the teacher talks about "Deng Xiao Ping"?

The book on Chinese history that I am now reading, "A History of China" by J. A. G. Roberts, is a bit skeptical about the facts given in this lesson. Qin Shi Huangdi had ordered the construction of a "long wall," but what is currently known as the Great Wall dates from the MIng period. Although Qin's relationship with scholars "was a difficult one," the burial of scholars alive "may never have happened," according to Roberts.

I do not think we have heard everything about this yet... like why did 建明 bring 赵露 along and then decide to disappear? Who is 赵露? BTW, if you enjoy a good story, I recommend the earlier Zhang Liang's and Lili's love story. It is very skillfully written and there is a lot to listen between the lines. You get a couple of episodes with Zhang Liang and Lili, and then there are other people giving advice to the main characters about what they should do. So you get to hear different views on the same events and it makes you wonder who is right. And then you go back to the earlier episodes and listen if they were really doing that well even then. There are no definite answers, so you can listen to the same episodes many many times.
