I have a question about this sentence: 我只不過是興趣而已

只 and 不过 seem to contribute the same meaning, so I'm wondering if they are both necessary. Also, I think I have seen them used in the opposite order, 不过只.  Is that also correct?

A couple questions about traditional characters:

I learned that 髒 zāng means dirty. Is 臟 also correct?

An online dictionary had 牙籤 for yá qiān instead of 牙簽. Which is correct?
