native speaker hear the difference? No context provided in this

test.

I am cool with "the best way to learn is to just learn things by ear", but it really distracts my learning too when there are lot of

questions like this. That's why this comments section is so great.

kind of weird question, I guess, but since this is "shenme"-lesson ... Why is the syllable "me" not in pinyin table?

In wikipedia it is, but in chinesepod and many other places it is not.
