I must say that your references to Taiwan were greatly appreciated.( Regardless of the debate of the theoretical problem of Chineseness in their politcs...it just shows how broad the culture and society can be!)

It is very common that people seek out excitement love ( same as 覺得興奮 ？）in their relationship, breaking up and getting back together again is a great way. Having a second lover is maybe a less desirable way... How would we say "comfort love" ? I think that is what Lili is after? Is this what what we call a poisonous relationships with an ex?

Just as a note from other languages Te amo in Spanish sounds really similar to Fu Jian 話 or Taiwanese Te am bo (really soft b ) which means "I do not understand" Otherwise en français on dit "Je t'aime" which is only two syllables - 33% more efficient than 中文！！！ In Chinese are there multiple levels in the expression of love? If I am not mistaken Swedish has 7 levels.

What are the policies for breast feeding/nursing in public in Shanghai? ( it is a reality of having a child- you must feed them when they ask for it..)
