Can someone explain to me why jian3 lai2 (Zhe4 shi4 cong2 wai2mian jian3 lai2 de) is used in one expansion example and jian3 dao4 (Ta1 zai4 lu4shang jian3dao4 yi1 ge qian2bao1) is used in another? It seems like both sentences are referring to a past, completed action. Are lai2 and dao4 interchangeable? Thanks in advance

Can bi4 zui3 also be used to ask someone to just close their mouth? For instance, I've just finished brushing my daughter's teeth (zhang1 kai1 zui3) and when I am done can I say bi4 zui3?
