June 16, 2014, 02:07 AMYou don't need to move back to 户口所在地. But you have to collect 养老金 at 户口所在地。For example, you live in Shanghai but 户口在苏州. You can still live in Shanghai after you retire. But you have to go back to 苏州 once a month to collect养老金。The big problem is the rate of 养老金 is different in different city. 养老金 in most cities in China is lower than 上海。So it's pretty hard.
