I've never heard of bandy so I googled it really quickly. Looks interesting! Yes, odd about calling ice hockey "hit ice ball". And what is more confusing to me is, since the puck is also called 球, what then would be the term for taking a slap shot? It's hitting/striking 打 the puck 球 isn't it?
