I live in Australia and have been married to a wonderful Chinese lady for many years. One might like to think I would have picked up this language somehow during all this time, but naaah - didn't happen. My "new" family speaks Cantonese, which for some odd reason I don't particularly like. Mandarin however on the other hand sounds so beautiful and melodious, I just want to be able to understand it, speak it and hopefully write it as well. Not sure what awaits me her in Cpods, but it all sounds very nice. I am determined to give it a shot.
