Sorry, don't have a picture. I'm sure it wasn't a pizza, though.

Sorry about being about three years late with the reply. Lol.

How do you not know Arsenio Hall, Greg?! haha, I just thought that was too funny. You're fired!

Maybe somebody could help me identify a snack. I was in Shanghai a couple of months ago visiting a friend, and I was near a shopping district (I think it was called 步行街 or 瓦赴京 or something). Anyway, as I was getting onto the train, I stopped at this booth and they had these kind of flat pizza-y things that they were selling. It had lie some kind of meat on it, and it was about six inches across.

Has anybody had this before? I have no idea what it's called, but it was so delicious that I want to have it again. I'm just not sure if it's a Shanghai delicacy, or can be found in greater China.

Thanks!

Hi! I was just listening to the show, and thanks for all the great suggestions! I can't seem to find some of the links, though. I think the last three escaped me. Where you can paste bits from websites into it, and it will translate for you. Catherine said one, and then the guys followed it up with another one (I was hearing para-para something). Thanks!

I was just in Beijing, and heard the same things from a teacher of mine. We were enjoying the famous Peking kaoya, and he said that his favorite part was the skin. According to Chinese thinking, eating skin is good for your skin. He saw the humor, but enjoyed his skin nonetheless. I wonder if I should start eating more of it.
