August 12, 2011 at 3:34 PMto crazyfish , English is not my mather language and , I REALLY enjoy the TEACHING from John and Milu . I miss Jenny but not Ken , possibly he was a funny guy , but not a good teacher ( his ego\performer during the CP newbee lessons maltreated the poor Jenny and most of newbees listeners ) . Nevertheless I respect your point of view , ( you are entiltled to it ) , but certainly do not agree with it

July 13, 2011 at 4:18 PMI see your point ccclim , although to teach is to inform and here , we are not discussing the "proper" English in a victorian way , but learning ( among other things ) the meaning of the Chinese language . Well done Di Lu and John !!!

May 28, 2009 at 7:17 AMAllow me to point out that I am not yet " a member of the club " . As a new bee , in these columns I miss the pin1yin1 and the english translation\ explanation when someone writes only the han4zi . In spite of it , I find some of these contributions to the lessons very useful .
My comment to the spoken exercises part : I love the way how Janny pronounces , and , if Kent waites just a little longer with his comments\explanations to whatever is said by Janny , we ( the listners ) shall have more time to pay more attention to the new words and sounds , and not " feel interrupted " by Kent`s prompted good intentioned comments on the subject
Posted on: How Old Are You?
September 17, 2011 at 11:11 AMhi bodawei , do you mind to write the pin1yin1 to your han4zi ? ; in this way I (and many newbee learners ) could follow your interesting issue
岁是量词,对吧? 所以那个句词,'我二十五岁',没有动词,对吧?
To you Jenny thanks for your useful help .
