Actually, 可乐（ke le）comes from the pronunciation of Cola. If you want specific Coca Cola, normally we would like to say 可口可乐（ke kou ke le）, which also from its pronunciation. Because there is another one you know, Pepsi Cola, 百事可乐（bai shi ke le）.
