They are probably talking about the host translating the sentences during the lesson. The translations aren't good enough and make it difficult to listen to the lesson.

All the previous hosts seemed to be able to make the dialogue and vocabulary seem like a natural part of discussing a theme. With these people it feels like they are working their way through a list of words with no connection. As other people have mentioned, there is no need for there to be English in the lessons. Also, some of the English translations for the example sentences are really bad.

This is about as interesting as listening to TTS read a textbook. Are the people doing the recent podcasts permanent?
