about half way into the dialogue transcript, there's a line with the english word "position" . What's the meaning of this?

in the first line of the dialogue, if the speaker would have said:我既然結婚以來， 就..., would it be the same meaning?

My question is: is there an implyed/ommitted 以來 after 我既然結婚  ？
