April 26, 2019 at 4:09 PMI think in her way it would make even harder to remember these characters. “出” is nothing bother with forks, just to think it is consists of 2 "山” characters, which means 2 mountains. So, when you go out of 2 mountains, it means "出” also “出口” have another meaning, it is: to export, while import is “进口”.

April 26, 2019 at 3:44 PMVery good! Now I know how to count from 1 to 99. So how do you say "I want 3 apples, the total cost is 15 yuan"?.

April 24, 2019 at 10:59 AMI like Joy's way to learn Chinese, it is so much fun. But I just have to say: just use one version of Chinese characters plz ( only Simplified or only Traditional Chinese characters). It would be more helpful if you put a simple dialogue or phrases to show how to use them at the end of this lesson.

April 24, 2019 at 10:43 AMVery good content, and the hosts explained very well. And if i am not wrong , why the female host sounds like a robot in the Vocabulary Review page.
also "用” sometimes means "to eat" in Chinese .eg: "你请用餐" means : you eat please.
another common meaning is :"to use"

April 26, 2019 at 5:16 PM怼,it is a slang from north east China. 1.我怼你/他(I talk back to someone, it means to me), 2. 怼死你(I beat you very hard or to death) 3. when you eat, someone says: 来怼个鸡腿吧(to eat a chicken leg) 4. when someone pushes you 他用胳膊肘怼我( he uses his elbow to push me) 扎心了,老铁。 it literally means you stabbed my heart, buddy! something makes you feel sad or worry. 油腻,it means greasy. but 油腻小生 means nowadays some young guys who wear a lot of makeup and well-designed hairstyle. While "中年油腻” means the middle-aged men who don't care about their outfit, always talk a lot of lies.
