"wash the cards" means shuffle, and "black flower" means "spade",
i think, sometimes we don't also know how to say "shuffle" "diamonds" or "spade" in english when playing cards , so we use chinglish instead.
but this is not a big problem, it's just a matter of time. you will get used to it.
