Speaking on the subject with a Chinese friend I asked about 按摩 and 推拿 and she opined that these are semi-separable 不能说‘推过拿’，但是可以说’推拿，推得。。。‘ . Are these two another class with usages between the inseparable ( eg 告诉) couplets and the fully separable (睡觉） couplets?
She also said that both 见过面 and 见面过 are acceptable.
