in the 9th sentence in the expansion section, there is a word "革命" , that I have a question about.

Why is it that this word has 革(leather), and 命（life/command), to mean "revolution" ?

Can somebody explain this to me?

Okay, but I'm not from Europe and I've heard of the holacaust. I'm not even a Jew. Knowing a few things doesn't make it okay to be ignorant about a few other really important things

Does anyone know how to say "the Hollocaust" ? I think that would be interesting to learn about, in Chinese.

I've noticed for many years that Chinese people don't seem to know much about the Hollocaust. Has anyone else noticed this?

how often is 几块钱(ji3kuai4qian2) used? Is it ever used? If so, when would I use that, instead of the duo1shao3qian2 ?
