Hello, would you please explain why not use 学习, 为什么， 老师 (sorry no pinyin ability on keyboard)， instead of characters used in this lesson? I am also taking classes at a university where I work and the professors are using above characters. Also, these characters are preferred in apps like Pleco. Keep up the great work.
