The US Treasury Department released a semi-annual exchange rate policy report on the 28th, stating that China did not manipulate the exchange rate to gain an unfair trade advantage.

On the same day, the US Treasury Department issued the "International Economic and Exchange Rate Policy Report" for major trading partners, stating that the major trading partners of the United States did not manipulate the exchange rate, but included China, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam, these nine countries in the list for policy monitoring.

Liu Guoqiang, deputy governor of the People's Bank of China and deputy director of the Office of the Financial Stability Development Committee of the State Council, said in an interview with the media that China has the conditions, ability and confidence to keep the RMB exchange rate stable and at a reasonable and balanced level.
