Using RSS feeds

November 13, 2007, 09:38 AM posted in General DiscussionSince CPOD v3 the "extras" podcasts, Qingwen, Dear Amber etc have been dropped from the personal podcast feed. It has been intimated a couple of times since then that they will be put back into the personal feed? For us iTunes subscribers it is a bit of a pain to download each one individually and then load into the library. Any chance of reinstating them into the personal feed?
Along similar lines, I have just realised (I think) that subscribing to the All Conversations RSS feed does not result in the conversations associated with the "extras" being included when I am reading the feed in Bloglines? Is this intended or is there another RSS feed for Extras which I haven't spotted?

November 13, 2007, 04:10 PMWell, before I complain a little, I do want to say that I'm continually impressed with the CPod experience. You all have been able to incorporate a lot of functionality into one place, and the fact that it works as smoothly as it does should be grounds for some kind of award. I guess what's throwing me for a loop is the fact that it was working just fine (i.e. all the Extras were showing up in iTunes), and now it's not. And it seems to be taking a while (i.e. months) to solve what seems to me to be a trivial issue. Then again, I'm a designer, not a developer. I know there must be a lot going on behind the scenes that I don't know about, and so I don't want to be a pain. But a little more background info on this issue might help me sleep a little easier. ;-) And that's all I have to say about that.

November 13, 2007, 01:22 PMPhil, We're actually already hard at work bringing all the extra content into fuller union with the whole site (and yes, that includes the feed and the comments).
