Beginning and Ending

我有一个问题： In english, when we describe a book or movie, we say "In the beginning..." or "At the end...". 在中文，怎么说吗？
我可以说：“这本书开始他是一个坏人， 但是在结束他是一个好人。”？ Is this correct？

how would I simply say "at the end of the book..."?
我可以说： 他在这本书结束死了。 ？
or, how would I say that "I didn't like the end of the movie."?
我可以说： 我不喜欢电影的结束。 ？
