Some quizzes and a proficiency test

I see that these guys promise to teach you Chinese in ten days.. That's about -10 points for credibility.

They are pretty good actually, they have some good software.

Hi, I did the first quiz - easy with no background, but then went on the next and couldn't do it without listening to a story, and couldn't figure out how to do that. Instead I went to the proficiency test - sobering indeed. I got 84% overall, but really screwed up one grammar section because I just couldn't get the right perspective on it. Also I've forgotten most of the characters I ever knew, and the screen quality was less than great. Bazza, have you used their software? Do you like it? Do you know how to get to the stories the quizzes are based on, or am I once again exhibiting my cyber-ignorance? Kathy

I've only used their flash card program "Before You Know It" and it's probably the best I've seen.
