iOS request - Control Center audio controls

On iOS 7 (iPhone 5S), when I play the lesson audio, go out of the app, the Control Center audio controls don't work for the audio. I commented on this issue on the iTunes App store. It would be nice to be able to control the audio via Control Center. For example, I would play a lesson, go to another app (for example, I like to view the lesson text in Pleco) and pause, ff/rew using the corresponding buttons in the audio portion of the Control Center.
