Importing Vocab Issues

I have a huge list of vocab I'm trying to import from the ZDT flascard program. When I export from ZDT I get a notepad file. How can I import these to Chinesepod (if possible)?

May 11, 2007, 04:54 AMAny update on importing vocab to CP? It would solve all of my problems regarding the missing CP vocab database if I could import from ZDT.

May 12, 2007, 05:22 AMYeah, I second that.... I tried various methods, but it looks like you have to have your exported file EXACTLY like the way that CP exports theirs. There should be a field mapping feature during the import, and maybe even during the export. Possible? -Rich

May 14, 2007, 04:27 AMI also have problems with the vocabulary after the site change. When I export now, all the pinyin letters with tones above them get screwed up. I, as many others, keep my own wocabulary list in Excel, so I would really appreciate if there was an export-option with tabs, so it was easily imported into an excel file. Another problem is the vocabulary lists. All my lists have dissappeared, and now I only have the "All vocab"-list. So I need to sort all the words again!! And the only way to do this is to add tags, word by word... With hundreds of words, this will take days! There should be a possibility to mark several words before tagging them all in one go. I like the change of the website, but with my vocabulary not working it effectilively limits the learning value of this site.

May 14, 2007, 11:21 AMAgreed. I was using this site mainly for the great vocab functions. Since V3 I haven't been able to do this. I'm hoping the old functions will be restored soon.
