A lot of posts on here are about the dialogue, with many people asing "Can I say... instead?" But how would I ask that in Mandarin, if I'm speaking to a Chinese person?

correct me if Im wrong, cuz I could be smoking crack and I have no Chinese person around to be 100% certain but you could say: chu le zhe ge shuofaa iwai, hai you (shenme) bie de shuofaa ma? (literally: other than this way of saying it, is there some other way to say it?) or chu le zhei/nei ge shuo faa iwai, hai keyi shuo x ma? x = what you want to say or just hai keyi shuo x ma? can I also say x? dude, I bet this was waaayyyy to confusing, really theres a lot of ways to say it personally Id say somehting like he wo gangcai shuo de hua, hai you shenme bie de shuo faa neng yong (shang) lai biaoda yiyang de yisi ma? ok hope that helps... Jenny, John, somebody...can I put the (shang) after yong? is it better to have it or not? I dont know why it just feels right, but feelings can often be soooo sooo wrong thanks

If you just want to see if your second way of saying something is correct, why not use 我还可以说.... Robert's strikes me as correct, but a bit long-winded. Why not 我还可以怎么说 if you want to ask a question?
