It installs separately from version 2 at the moment.

May 20, 2008, 10:04 AMIt's also pretty unstable and incompatible with almost every addon so I wouldn't recommend installing it yet unless you're really curious.

May 20, 2008, 10:18 AMHi bazza, You should have said that first. Anyway, I don't usually buy a copy of the first printing of a dictionary since it is highly possible that it contains many typos and misspellings.

May 20, 2008, 12:51 PMHi goulniky, I’m afraid that I don’t get your point. As far as I know, software, regardless whether it is free or not, usually has a lot of bugs especially just after it is upgraded (or released), and later minor upgrades eliminate those bugs. For example, I’m now using Firefox version 2.0.0.14 released this spring. And I think the number “2” is, so to speak, the equivalent of “the second edition” of books, and “14” is “the 14th printing” or something like that. I still believe my analogy is not so off the mark.

May 20, 2008, 06:10 PMI will install separately, you just have to select the custom install option and specify a different directory name.

May 20, 2008, 06:51 AMCorrection: it doesn't install separately, it overwrites your current version.
