一个农夫正挑着一桶大粪，一个老外看见了，走过来，用手蘸一下，尝了尝， 问道：“这个酱多少钱？” yī gè nóngfū zhèng tiāo zhe yī tǒng dàfèn，yī gè lǎowài kànjian le，zǒuguò lái，yòng shǒu zhàn yīxià，cháng le cháng， wèndào：“zhège jiàng duōshǎo qián？”
农夫笑了笑，老外很生气，心想，“你不告诉我多少钱，我也不告诉你，你的酱臭了”。nóngfū xiào le xiào，lǎowài hěn shēngqì，xīnxiǎng，“nǐ bù gàosu wǒ duōshǎo qián，wǒ yě bù gàosu nǐ，nǐ de jiàng chòu le”.

OK, today I learned 蘸 (zhàn) - to dip in (ink, sauce, 大粪, etc.)

蘸 (zhan4, dip) is seemingly an unfamiliar character, but the "zhan4" is very frequently used in every day conversation here in China, just like "蘸着吃"，“蘸酱油吃” and “吃饺子要蘸醋”. That said, I doubt that many Chinese people know how to write it correctly. Actually, a lot of native people use “沾/粘” (zhan1) instead of “蘸” (zhan4) in writing Chinese, but of course this is not a correct usage. Here is a detailed explanation on how to properly use “蘸，沾，粘”

@changye, 我还喜欢吃 小馒头蘸condensed milk, 粽子蘸蜂蜜！I don't know why, but this reminds of a funny Chinese saying! When someone ask for a treat, like "你要请我吃饭”，the other one will probably say "好吧！凉水泡馍，馍自带”？(literally, “Ok, water with steamed bread, you bring the steamed bread"), meaning "I'll treat you, but I can only offer you water from the tap", really stingy! It's another joke. haha

Because you know some people like me just like foods with smell like 臭豆腐，榴莲. After I ate 臭豆腐, it smells like 大粪. Really.

台湾有一家以厕所为主题的餐厅。那里用的椅子都是真正的便器，而且碗碟盘也都是便器形的。你可以在那家所谓的"厕所餐厅"享受吃大便形冰淇淋。我相信那儿肯定还有盛在便器形盘子的咖喱饭！这些东西你敢吃吗？
