I would've translated this as "I want to go to Hainan to travel."  I would've been wrong... you guys said it was "I'm going..." 

So what is the difference between the "I'm going..." and "I want to go?"

My son and I always use the phrase, "什么声音?" now when he hears different things.  It's really cute when he hears me say it, he also wants to hear the sound.  Great lesson!

a perfect picture of a Chinese family.  Even though playing baseball for the Red Sox would make the child more money than any job out of Harvard.

I thought the Red Sox would be 红袜子。 but you guys said 红袜队。 so If I said the hong wazi...that would be wrong? 

I was checking the scores and found a Chinese website for Major League Baseball in Chinese!  COOL!

another great lesson.  I've been that person who says, "HEY GUYS... what do you think?"  they all laugh.  It's pretty normal that all the dumplings that are ugly or falling apart or bursting... are mine.

But in my opinion...Dumplings are the perfect food.  A mix of flour, water, meat and veggies.  Hmmm! delicious.

saw the radical show today.  Can I say... WHAT THE HECK WAS THAT ALL ABOUT????   Are you trying to make fun of something??  Are you trying to do like a SNL take off or something?  Great idea...but kind of a dumb way of doing it.  Was that PETE in a WIFE BEATER???  hilarious... who was the other guy??  Strange idea with the eighties thing... John's the only role that was good because he was just himself.  Better luck next time.
