This week is quite busy but I try to keep working on this lesson. Next week is much better, but I am happy to help. I think one learns a lot from this.

Chanelle, I had a quick look--你做得又快又好看! Why not put up a notice in the lesson discussion board too?

chanelle, maybe I noticed a typo or two! I suggest the following amendments,(they're in the order in which they appear in the transcript).

, 今天我们很重要,因为面试面试

而且你知道是一个 ”JOB INTERVIEW ”

没错, 因为是考

那,这是一个的考试。

John: 面试的。(remove the 的)

Jenny: 那今天我们听到很多常用的词组 (phrase) 和搭配 (collocation)

Jenny: 没错因为是好的意思。

John: And it refers to being able to bare something
(change 'bare' to 'bear')

Bodawei, Raygo, thank you for the suggestions I changed the mistakes. I think I prefer bare to bear hahaha! :-) That's what you get if you are a non-native English speaker lol...

Hi chanelle, I've been looking through your transcript again, (sorry for the delay!) and I think I've fixed the rest of the errors, (see below, I think you don't need to keep the red highlight when you add them!)

这个是上一个工作岗位一个“position”一个”post”

那最后,你要拿多少钱也很重要。哈哈

这个interviewer你期望的薪水是多少

其它,那么优点呢通常别人会说我很人真。

这个还挺常见,挺“typical”的。

Thanks once again for all your hard work on this, I think it's well worth while.

Chanelle, that 's good work. I had a quick look; I think the English word you miss is 'pertinent'.

When Jenny talks about a position she might say 职位, not sure.  When she talks about asking what salary he wants it sounds more like 找 than 要. The word for team worker 团队工作者 are repeated. I hope that is some help.  Like you I missed some of the other things she says.

Cool! Which one are you doing chanelle? I've been trying to do the latest one 'About to give birth', but like you say, it's much harder work. I've just got the first 3 and a half minutes!

天啊!Isn't that the one you had strong feelings about? I guess you want to bone up on a controversial subject, (sorry for the pun, literally just slipped out!)

Lol, well actually I thought from all the 14 upp int lessons which are on my to do list, this one has the most familiar context and vocab I guess. So I thought to try this one. I do not want to start the discussion again, trust me :-).

Thanks Chanelle for pitching in. These are a lot of work but transcribing provides great satisfaction, you learn the most, and  everyone benefits. Listening can be so tough, and this helps immensely.

Raygo, thx again for your help!, I changed all your suggestion and removed the highlights :-)

I am working on transcribing an upper intermediate lesson, now that is REALLY challenging (and I thought I understood most of the things Chinese were saying around me ....NOT, I guess I miss complete parts).

But, the more mistakes I make, the more I will learn lol!
