PM message system rant...

Then they must pro-actively send this message ALONG WITH EVERYTHING ELSE THAT WAS IN THEIR INBOX AT THE TIME OF THE CHANGEOVER to their email. Or am I just the only one who can't figger this out?

Yes. That, or they simply miss "timely" communications. Or they keep checking their email like fanatics every 10 min.
My email isn't gmail and the system works fine for me but I've heard a user with yahoo I think, email say it didn't for them.
In any case, I'm really not a fan of this new system!

August 02, 2009, 08:58 PMHey misterjess,
click on the intended recipients name in a post on cpod. This will take you to their profile as always. Hit send message and type and send.
the catch - it works reliably only if they have a gmail account as their email address on file with cpod. And they have to check for messages. Nothing on the site alerts them to the fact that they have a message. You can try sending to me if you like as a test. Returning messages can be done directly from the gmail account by hitting reply and you are taken back into cpods system. It works.
You can download everything in your old archive if you like but this is not required and a separate issue.
Hope this helps. Keep asking if I missed the mark.
