Notify me of followup?

Just a quick question, as I started to try using the feature when posting to "Notify me of followup comments via e-mail" as I clicked this when posting yesterday, but today I came, found there were new posts following mine, yet never received emails.  Any tips on why this may not be working for me?

Rich,

Rather than sending them out instantaneously, the email notifications are sent out at fixed intervals.  The delay depends on the length of the email server queue, but despite the delay, I still find them quite useful for keeping me updated on old conversaitons.

Hmm..yet, still haven't received any.  It was the same with the old mail system here too, where I wouldn't be notified of a message, but now (I think) the new system does give me mail from anyone who sends me a message here.  I have checked all spam filter settings and spam box, but nothing there.  How often are these intervals?  Would have thought I got something by now.  Maybe I need to change my email address and try again.  I tried making a new account, and I do get email through them... maybe this "rich" account is jinxed...hmph.

The emails are sent out daily.  The time can vary a bit, depending on the queue at the time.

How long have you been waiting?

Days, weeks... never seen a single follow up email.  I'm also now realizing, from sending myself a message from another account, that I don't get any emails from ChinesePod users... so I'm definitely trying to figure out what that is now...didn't realize it was this severe.

I do, however, get daily messages from ChinesePod for the lessons each day, so that works...so I know my email address specifically for ChinesePod works...odd.
