If you wanted to say "I haven't done it" when someone asks if you've done a certain thing or task, could you just say: 我没有做 ?

That's "it's not me". In that context it was for denying that you farted. In a casual situation you can just say "hai2 mei2", or "hai2 mei2 zuo4 dao4" (not yet, haven't done yet), but it also implies that you will do it in the future. Sorry, this computer can't input Chinese.

ok... I installed it. How do you use it? BTW amber, is my "还没做到" grammatically correct? I'm technically a native Chinese speaker, but it's gotten pretty bad due to lack of practice. It just feels more natural to say it like that, but it's all based on feel, which has become rusty.

wǒw thīs pīnyīn inpùt prǒgrām ǐs cōōl! I never knew there was something like this. Thanks for the link. It even doesn't allow you to write words that aren't valid Chinese syllables. Way cōōl. (which made writing those sentences a pain since I had to keep hitting enter to write a new syllable... oh, and now of course I found that if you click the check mark you can suībiàn write tones, on any letter!)

babliku, when you're in character input mode, you should be able to just press ctrl+shift and it will switch to pinyin mode.

Hi everyone, 还没做 (hái méi zuò) would mean you haven't done the task - in that, you haven't even started yet. 还没做好 (hái méi zuòhǎo) would mean that you've started doing it, but haven't completed the task yet. :)
