How to say 'post' and 'comment' in Chinese?

November 24, 2009, 02:15 AM posted in I Have a QuestionI feel like I should already know how to say both, but I don't. Now for 'post' I mean a post in blog or our community page here at CPod, and of course by 'comment' I mean a comment to a post. (I think comment is 帖子, right? I'm not positive about that one.)

November 24, 2009, 05:22 AMAs far as I have gathered:
To (make, start a) post seems to be 发帖子,发出帖子,发帖
一个帖子 therefore is a post (= what we here seem to be *loosely* calling a "thread")
To respond to such a post 跟帖,回帖,(回复 is respond, not necessarily to the original post but to anyone commenting there)
I also see the character 贴 used in place of 帖; these may be mostly typos?
For "thread", as in threaded comments (which we don't currently have on CPod but would be really nice for our 中文-only discussions), I have also found 线群 (in my dictionary); don't know if this is used much at all.
As our teachers say at the end of the podcasts, we can also say 留言 (leave word), use this in combination with the other terms——跟帖留言
You can also "comment" (critique), like after reading an article or someone's blog entry 评论
A link is 链接 lian4jie1 (not 连接 lian2jie1).
Does this look pretty real?
Anyone else?

November 24, 2009, 05:36 AMHi zhen
发帖子,发出帖子 are completely new to me, but hopefully are just what the doctor ordered. As for 一个帖子, that does make sense.
I have heard Jenny say a million times 留言, which most be right. I have a feeling that it is oral and not something a webpage designer would normally use. I have seen 评论 before. I actually feel a little embarrassed that I forgot it. Haha.
Anyway, thanks!

November 26, 2009, 07:02 AMActually,
V. to make a post in a forum seems to be
开主题帖(贴) or 发主题帖(贴)
N. 主题帖(贴) is the post.
I've gathered all this from some 网上吧s. Some will have an index of most recent 主题帖s and how many 回复s that post has generated, etc.
