How to use 寄送发

Hi Cpod-Team, I always mix up the verbs 寄，送 and 发。Each of these verbs has something to do with moving something from A to B, but which is used in which context? Could you make a 请问 about this topic?

听起来好主意因为我也有时候用错动词。下面句子我一般用这些动词：

发：发短信

送：我送她礼物

寄： 我昨天寄那个包裹了。

Thanks, ouyangjun116. Yes, 送 is also commonly used in the sense of 送给 - to make a gift. However it can also be used as a "movement verb" e.g. "能把行李送到我的房间吗？“.
