Login trouble..

April 12, 2010, 04:21 PM posted in General Discussion.. for the last couple of days I've been re-directed to the login page every time I try to get on. It didn't used to be this difficult.

April 13, 2010, 12:26 PMI have spent several hours tinkering with the browser settings in "security" and "privacy" sectors using IE and FF on several computers. I did get back to where it fills in the username and password but I still have to click "log in" every time. It used to go straight in but suddenly it stopped and would not even populate the username and password fields. It is just a matter of some common sense trial and error changes but obviously something has changed. Each browser version is different but pay mind to the settings that allow passwords to be saved and be careful what your browser is set to delete upon each exit.

April 13, 2010, 01:14 AMDitto, almost. The login page does not memorize my username, but then once my username is entered it remembers my password. But I emptied all my cookies recently, to solve another problem, and encouraged Changye to do the same. It seems that new cookies have not yet eventuated?

Regaring the actual topic: I am still utterly unaffected (Firefox). But the login seems to be longer valid on the mobile site.

April 12, 2010, 07:18 PMNo help, but the same thing has been happening to me on Mac 10.6.x (Safari) and Windows 7 (Chrome). No big deal, but both machines used to remember that no problem.
