Sorry for the late response! But it seems that the message is not all readable.

Yes, the way you say "认识你很高兴" is good. Or you can also say "很高兴认识你"。

By the way, when we spoke, I told you that I worked for a company that builds airplanes. In Chinese I would say:

我是做飞机。 Is this correct?

Helen,

I had another question:

I went to a chinese resaurant this week and ordered my dishes using yi1ge. Should I have used yi1fen4? That is, I said:

我要一个麻婆豆腐 , 一个......

Should I have said:

我要一分麻婆豆腐，一分。。。。？

or are both correct?

Hi Helen, Do I understand correctly that the guided plan now includes weekly 10-min calls instead of monthly 30-min calls? If so, do we need to set up a schedule? Matt

Yes, we need to set up a schedule if you would prefer the weekly 10-min calls.

It would be perfect if you can do it 8:15am or 9am every Thursday.

Thanks for the corretions!!

The best time (by far) for me is Sunday afternoon Los Angeles time (early Monday morning Shanghai time). I travel on business monday-friday of almost every week so my schedule then is 乱七八糟！！

Would that work for you? We could also try a 20 min call every two weeks if that would be easier for you.
