尊敬的田团长、尊敬的来宾，欢迎你们来到加州。

首先感谢OAH主任Linda Cabatic 和刘主审法官让我参加今天的会议。

中国和加州有150 多年的交往历史。十多年来，好几个中国代表团访问了我们的OAH.  我们曾经对行政法进行了有益于双方的讨论。但我们从来没有接待过如此庞大而又杰出的代表团。我们很荣幸能参与到这个过程中，并决心尽最大的努力为大家带来双赢。

中国有悠久的历史和灿烂的文化，而且改革开放30 年来的发展也让人惊叹。我自己年年带美国华裔大学生回国寻根。每次去大陆我都亲眼目睹到中国的巨大变化和快速发展。不管在中国最大的城市还是在乡下最小的乡村，中国的进步都让人佩服。

我们像各位一样，坚信我们这样在司法制度上的交流会创建更好的法律制度，更好的未来。再次欢迎各位来宾的到来！

Ellen, yes we can try Monday 2pm (China time). That would be November 16, after I return from China.

Dear Steven,

I suggested before that "from Nov 16th (in my time zone), let's change to Mon 3pm (China time)". Sorry, I made a mistake.  Because I've got another student who 's class time is Monday 3pm, then I cannot give you lesson at that time.

Could you possibly still do the lesson at Monday 2pm? That means you will need to call me an hour eariler.

If it's not ok for you, how about we change to Monday 3.30pm (China time)? That means you need to call me half an hour later than the usual time.

OK, I will continue talking with you at the same time in my location (Pacific Time Zone).

I'll be in China October 31 to November 11.  It's partly to meet with Guangdong provincial officials regarding the Roots program and partly for tourism.

At present, our lesson time is Mon 2pm (China time). From Nov 16th (in my time zone), let's change to Mon 3pm (China time). But in your time zone, the time is still the same, OK?

Ellen, I will be in China on November 2 and 9 (your time zone), so I won't be able to talk with you then.  But I will talk with you next week as usual.
