April 17, 2010, 01:45 AM posted in I Have a QuestionEven after using online dictionaries, I find it a little unclear what is the best way to say these sentences. Note: I wrote in bold the words I specifically have a problem with.
- Can you please staple these?
- Can you tape this to the wall?
- Can you please glue this onto the form?
It has been easy for me to find the noun form of the words in bold, but the verb form is a different matter.
Thanks in advance.

Here's my opinion.
yes!ba is EXACTLY used here.
and ding shu ji the word doesn't necessarily needed here,it must be a "ding shu ji"which can be used to "ding" something,so the verb of ding is enough.

请把这些订(verb)起来,好吗?
or
可以把这些订(verb)起来吗?
“订书钉”is a noun,such as"给我一盒订书钉".
And "订书钉"is a kind of "钉子"just like"图钉"、”大头钉“,etc.

April 17, 2010, 02:55 AMPlease staple these together. 请把这个订在一起。
I staple the document together. 我把文件订在一起。
I tape this on the wall. 我用胶带把这个贴在墙上。
I glue this onto the paper. 我(用胶水)把这个粘(贴)在单子上。
