Confusion

I posted a comment on my home page about dashboard confusion. Now I can't find it again. Should I be writing a post on post confusion as well?

Is there a quick guide to where I should be posting posts and where I should be viewing lessons?

I thought I posted a post on polyscriptalism in Hong Kong and Taiwan, but then I couldn't find it, either.

IT WAS REALLY GOOD YOU GUYS!

A number of posts have gone awol recently. The thing about those posts is that, even though they can't be found where they should be, they invariably (in my experience) still show on the profile of the poster. Aside from your comment above, the next most recent comment showing on your profile is from 5 days ago. When did you post this comment?

As to where you post or view - whatever works best for you. I personally think the dashboard is useless. I use the Community and Lesson pages.

It was a post this morning (just before this thread) and surprisingly enough was on dashboard confusion:

It's never as well written the second time around, but it was regarding what I want to view on my dashboard:

- list of lessons assigned to me (studied lessons marked apropriately)

- list of lessons at my level

- list of all studied lessons

I can't find a way to display any of these. There always appear to be extra unexpected lessons in the list or lessons that I expect which aren't shown. The "show all lessons" list seems to be shorter than any of the filtered lists. Totally confused.

"It's never as well written the second time around..."

Now that's where I'd have to take issue. In my experience things are always better written second time around. Add third or fourth for good measure.

"I would say... :'Read over your compositions, and where ever you meet with a passage which you think is particularly fine, strike it out.'"

Who is 'I' here (who's the funnyman?) Is it Boswell or Samuel Johnson speaking?

Johnson, of course. But you're just kidding me, aren't you old sport. ;)

I just now wrote a long post (that is, a new conversation). I mean, really long. Posting it, I got the message "Your message has been successfully posted". The post did not show up, however. Luckily, I had the good sense to copy all of my text before posting, or the entire thing would be lost. I'll try to post again.
