Naming isn't my forte but it does look like a great set for a water ballet. Does China have those? Underwater "ballet" revues. I would think the Chinese if anyone could do them spectacularly.
Does anybody have those actually? I saw a show in Japan, but that was like 35 years ago.

I don't know about underwater revues but I have seen an 'on' water revue here! A very large water stage, boats going hither and thither, songs that reminded me of Seven Wives for Seven Brothers. Or in China that should probably be Seventeen Wives for Seventeen Brothers. Just that they do everything on a large scale.

Actually your 'revue' idea resonates with this artist's work. Some of his other work features people in military uniform performing in revues with big smiles and big guns. I don't want to give too much away but the artist has actually served in the Chinese army.

"Seventeen Brothers"?...are you sure?

“十七哥们儿”...I'd believe

I'm a bit slow on the uptake Baba, are you saying that I should have said it in Chinese? I was just saying that the numbers that often line up are considerably more than the classic seven .. 15, 20 I'm not sure .. girls on one side boys on the other .. and there is a lot of singing and dancing and hilarity .. playing out the courtship game. There is one act at a revue I have seen where the boy and the girl fling each other around the stage, then run at each other at speed and bounce off each other (must be fun), and then the man is too tired at the end to carry his bride (drops her several times) so .. okay you can see this coming a mile off .. eventually the slim little thing hoists the big beefy bloke onto her shoulder and marches off the stage.

我是说: 我不相信是十七的兄弟【有一样的父母】,可是十七的哥们儿【不一样的爸妈】。。那个我相信,呵呵

”eventually the slim little thing hoists the big beefy bloke onto her shoulder and marches off the stage“

哈哈,我很喜欢

gotcha. 哥们儿,表弟,表哥,朋友,好友,。。还有兄弟。 Takes on a non-literal meaning sometimes, particularly in business, restaurant names etc. :)
