This kind of logic is certain, abstract logic, not loose or speculative. So it's within the realm of maths.

Premise: one and only one of the four is telling the truth.

Claim: XX did it.

Proof by contradiction: XX telling truth implies XX did not do it. Then there are three possibilities. 1. MM did it-->KK is telling truth as well. Contradicts premise.

2. KK did it-->TT is also telling the truth. Contradiction.

3. TT did it-->MM is also telling the truth. Contradiction.

Thus it is not true that XX did not do it-->XX did it.

This was a really great lesson, one I would reccomend to others like me just moving up from Intermediate.

One question on vocabulary in the Grammar section. In the sentence   

"要我说，iPhone的外表是其次，它的设计挺令我心动的.",
does 设计 only refer to the functional design of the phone and not to its appearance?
Perhaps there is a different word for "design" that would include appearance and function. In English, I think "design" actually usually emphasizes appearance.

Yes, this is definitely not C-pod specific. I've been having trouble accessing all sorts of things that a not-very-reactionary prole like myself would never have thought threatening to the esteemed keepers of the firewall.

I've talked with several Chinese physicians (of modern science-based medicine) about TCM and have yet to find one who will not vigorously defend the herb dispensary down the street and claim that TCM works "along different pathways."

Yes, it's great to have a little bit of a varying level. This is my first successful time through an Upper Intermediate lesson. It would be even better if it was noted which UI lessons were more "Upper UI" and which were "Lower UI".

As an American (estadounidense) in China, the American food I miss most is the Mexican and Salvadoreño food of South Omaha, Nebraska (represent, Midwest!), don't tell my German mother.

Actually, one could argue that using alphabets in Europe led to faster linguistic evolution since changes in pronunciation were soon reflected in orthography.
