November 7, 2009 at 11:59 PMYay! My name got featured in Qing Wen again! XD hehe I always get ignored at school >.< lol I think I classify as one of the "shy" poddies who needs to post more :)
And thank you for the Qing Wen guys :D It was really helpful so yay for there not being reflexive verbs in Chinese! :D one less thing for me to learn :D hehe That's if I understood the lesson right :/ but I don't there are listening and reading what everyone's got to say :) Thanks again! :D

September 6, 2009 at 6:10 PMYeah, I'd quite like to hear more about the use or, perhaps in this case, no use, of indefinite articles.
So far, I haven't come across any but maybe that's just me. Can someone shed some light on this for us?

September 6, 2009 at 10:03 AMThanks so much guys for you help! :D I just saw this lesson this morning and thought "Oh that's handy, I was wondering about that the other day" and then my username was mentioned! Eeeeek, I was so excited! lol Coming from a 15 year old, it's something very exciting as I'm never even mentioned in assemblies at school lol and here I am being mentioned over the big old Internet! :D
And thanks for the actual lesson as well, that definitely cleared things up for me! I went back to school a few days ago for the start of a new year (on Wednesday) and I'd been studying Chinese hard over the Summer so I could surprise my Chinese friend (she comes from Beijing) and I was eavesdropping on her conversation with her friend and I was like "I know what you're talking about" and they were both like "Waaaaa!" complete with wide mouth and eyes! lol It's rewarding to learn that all that studying didn't go to waste! :D
