August 28, 2019 at 10:05 AMThis was a great lesson, not only for learning Chinese but also culture. And the little embedded video gave me goosebumps. Really entertaining, so thanks!

August 26, 2019 at 4:44 PMGreat lesson! Just a quick question; at 10:00, should it be 一个工作 or 一份工作?

August 26, 2019 at 4:25 PMI like how you can make these lessons both funny and educational. Also, I feel like these older lessons are very informal and teach colloquial language, very useful. One thing - Is 亲自 and 亲身 the same, can I use it the same way?

August 23, 2019 at 2:20 PMIt's fascinating how complex a simple term as vegetarianism can be in Chinese, and how many differences exist to our western definitions of it. This video was brilliant at explaining all the related terms, thanks so much for all the hard work!

August 23, 2019 at 11:07 AMWhile I think this is a nice lesson I also believe that it wasn't very clear when to use which expression, meaning that the context wasn't very clear. Otherwise I really enjoy this series.

August 23, 2019 at 11:04 AMCan we just start directly with 请问 or shouldn't we first say "excuse me" or "hello". I mean, like 您好/抱歉,+ 请问 ?

August 23, 2019 at 10:54 AMAt 1:50 shouldn't the translation be "I went to sleep as soon as I got home", instead of " fell asleep"? Or is that the same in Chinese? I see in the discussion it's translated like that but I'd like to know more exactly because for me falling asleep and going to bed aren't the same.

August 30, 2019 at 8:34 AMYou guys bring such a good atmosphere, it makes learning fun! I also know 开动 for setting in motion, but I think it's also used for starting the meal. Could it be used like this?
